Wheelwrights ( Bugford ) – Blackawton
Dating back to 1798 (at least) the old original wheelwright's workshop is a stone annexe to the owner's main residence. It has been superbly remodelled and refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation for a couple looking to explore the beautiful South Hams – a lovely blend of original features and modern-day comforts. The Haybarn – Blackawton
The Haybarn is a beautifully presented barn offering a high standard of accommodation and lovely views across neighbouring wood and farmland. The barns at West Hartley were converted in 2004 and have been creatively designed to provide a pleasant communal courtyard with private lawned gardens for each of the properties. Karibuni – Blackawton
Karibuni (Swahili for 'Welcome'!) is a large and very comfortable barn offering flexible, reverse-level accommodation and lovely views across neighbouring wood and farmland. The barns at West Hartley were converted in 2004 and have been creatively designed to provide a pleasant communal courtyard with private lawned gardens for each of the properties. Gas fired central heating and hot water. Strictly non-smoking. One well-behaved dog is permitted on the upper level only (ie. not in bedrooms or bathrooms).
